Its easier to understand when you have the non-white female character literally cause every single bad thing that happens in this movie being a complete dumbass, we're talking directly leading to multiple deaths she herself witnessed, and yet the very next scene that brown guy is getting shut down by her and the other person responsible for all of that death and cowing like a child.

Watching this movie when the last one I saw was The Cursed made for the weirdest trend of "Women cause mass death being retarded in a monster movie" I've accidentally stumbled into.
