The humans win in the beginning of 4, then there's like a 10 year time skip, with the rest of 4 and 5 being about mounting a final resistance that ultimately ends in a stalemate.
Cameron has more or less spoiled all of it because as he says it's not as much about keeping the story secret as it is paralleling real life colonialism.

No we could not. LLMs are a dead end and can only regurgitate and rearrange what came before with diminishing returns. The amount of data you'd need to AI-generate a completely new and self-consistent Avatar movie would probably fill the entire universe with hyperscale data centers. Even then it's a maybe.

not true. The real difficulty here is availability of CGI data that looks better than avatar. There simply isn't any, and almost all design decisions and CGI work in avatar is intentional and requires a lot of work.

In 2000, the Weta Digital engineers came up with the idea of the "virtual camera", where he could move a proxy for a camera through a digital environment and translate that movement into the computer camera.
Extensive videos of this process are abundant in behind-the-scenes footage from TFotR.
In 2009, the mainstream media gushes over James Cameron for "inventing" a process which had already been in wide use for nearly a decade.

Unsarcastically, I think the ONLY thing which Avatar might have - MIGHT have - "invented" was....motion capture....but underwater!
That's it.
Having the actors in a pool instead of a gym.
Wow.
Cameron is such a rebel.
>>
>>216642739
>The thing they came up with for Avatar was the Simul-Cam.
Wrong.
A) It had already been attempted a billion times, including on LOTR.
B) They didn't use their simulcam in Avatar because it glitched into oblivion. They admit this freely.
It wasn't until Disney's volume technique for their Star Wars streamshit where the simulcam process was finally put to actually productive use.
>>
>>216642739
Oh, wait, you're talking about real-time rendering on a videotap.
Yeah, that had existed long before Avatar.
The "simulcam" was combining live-action shots (of the soldiers and such) w/ previz CG models.
That failed miserably and was abandoned halfway into production.
They still hyped it up in promo materials, though, lying their asses off saying (a) Cameron invented it and (b) it worked. Neither was true.
>>
>>216642799
you can literally watch a huge chunk of the movie on simul-cam on the blu-ray features
>>
>>
>>216642841
You don't know what you're talking about.
That's not "simulcam". That's just motion capture data driving previz models. Usually after the fact.
Literally every movie does this, and had done it, for years.
You can see the same shit in 'Spider Man 1' from 2002.
>>
File: bugman.bingo.jpg (642 KB, 1800x2168)

>>216642874
On an even MORE fundamental level, a simulcam defeats the entire concept of the virtual camera, and the entire advantage of CG, whereby one can use the motion capture data first to then decide where to place and move the computer camera.
If Cameron (or any other filmmaker) actually USED their previz camera, it would be insanely constricting and negate one of the capital advantages of motion capture.

So you don't know what you're talking about.
You're just repeating your bugman buzzwords.

>So why didn't they just produce a million Quaritch avatars?
It's expensive, and you can't have two hard-ass leaders working together in a troop. You need soldiers and underlings, and the humans had entire ships full of Na'vi soldiers.
> Why did they use a cripple who immediately betrayed them
Jake's brother's avatar was very expensive and that Jake was a twin with military experience was a plus for them. The grunts at the human reservation okayed it. They obviously did not know he would betray them or that he would even get chummy with the Na'vi (no one could have predicted it). It literally cost them nothing to swap Jake in.
>and why did they bother with the.actual avatar program when they could've just used the "consciousness crystals" and the people stay back on Earth?
That's not how the tech works, and there are many benefits of being near your avatar body, the least of which is the diagnostics that come with it. It's not perfect tech (read the fucking comics).

>>
Only 3 days before all the Quaritch stans start offing themselves after he turns on the RDA after they order their pilot, on live radio with Quaritch, to fire on Jake while he's being shielded by Spider, just to prevent Jake from escaping Bridgehead, which they both do anyway.
And then Jim will take home another 3 billion, lmao

Dead wrong.
Not only was a match for an avatar exceedingly rare, but the entire technology:
>User controls a dumb, lifeless marionette remotely
was completely undone and changed into
>magical "consciousness crystals" can be plugged into a lab-grown alien made from anybody
It's so retarded and such a complete retcon of Avatar 1's more legitimate, strict, hard sci-fi rules that only you Bugmen could go along with it
Again: The RDA would simply breed a million Quaritch Na'vi's, a'la Star Wars Clonetroopers.

Picrel is from James Cameron's Avatar treatment.
NOT from the kike-written, 'Avatar: The Way of Water'
Gentile Avatar 1: Logical
Kike Avatar 2 and 3: Inane

1 in 100 isn't very outlandish. And it's not canon because it's not in the movie. It might be true.
And I'm sure they introduced Na'vi clones for a future plot point. IIRC there's going to be a large extermination machine of some kind in the new movie.
>>
Boobs
>>
>>216651783
>1% are good odds!
The odds of Quaritch and his group of 7 soldiers all being compatible would be 1/100^7
Or
1 in 1,000,000,000
Literally one in a billion.
But you STILL are too stupid to get it:
They WEREN'T bred into Avatars! They used "consciousness crystals" and then implanted their brains onto other Na'vi.
So what would even be the point of breeding one for Quaritch, when you can just use your "consciousness crystals" on anything?
It's so utterly retarded and bizarro that only kikes could bamboozle a 70-something Boomer like James Cameron into swallowing it, and only modern, uselss, retarded, impotent, 'Stranger Things' loving Bugmen would buy it.
>>
>>216651845
Calling someone stupid is pretty bold in an argument about ten foot tall blue catmen from space.
>>
>>216651845
>The odds of Quaritch and his group of 7 soldiers all being compatible would be 1/100^7
Nigger, there were more than seven soldiers on pandora. And I can accept that the movie, set on a different alien planet where humans can somehow remotely control avatars also has a brain-scanning tech that can be stored and re-injected into brains.
>>
>>216652021
>somehow remotely control avatar
They don't do this.
That was Avatar 1.
This was retconned by the kike writers of Avatar 2.
Now, instead of avatars, you have consciousness crystals.
>"I can believe it!"
Of course you can.
Because you're stupid.
>>
>>216652049
Avatars are still in use. And it's been fifteen years since. Brain-cloning tech is viable for a civilization that has brain-projectors. The real mystery is how they get them to wake up. I'm willing to suspend disbelief for that one. Eywa could do it.
>>
You faggots are arguing about this franchise as if it's old school Star Trek. Jesus, it's just a fun movie trilogy of visual spectacle, family drama and simple, relatable story. Who gives a shit if it's not hardcore sci-fi, it's not Jim's goal here
>>

>>216652130
Not that guy but James Cameron DID write avatar and he has the final word on most things on this film, and he filmed 2 and 3 concurrently. He literally states that he did not want Avatar to be a one-off thing, that he wanted it to be grand in scale with sub-plots and a large, overarching saga.
>>
