Watching Pluribus and Better Call Saul at the same time, I can earnestly say that what works for me with BCS and doesn't with Pluribus is that BCS has this rich and interesting cast that all play off each other constantly and create intrigue and investment simply by virtue of how they interact.Pluribus is a deeply lonely show. I struggle to really grow attached to anything or anybody when Carol is, ultimately, one of the only true "characters" in the show and her opportunity to play off of anybody other than the hivemind is so limited and infrequent.
