saw bugonia, once i saw that it was an adaptation of a korean film i could see the ending coming from a hundred miles awayit was good. i've enjoyed lanthimos' stuff before and this was a bit different, visually, from his usual stuff but still a good turn-off-brain moviea solid 3.5/5 enjoyable but not quite mandatory watch status
>>216776367>lanthimosNot really a fan t b h. At least I wasn't of Dogtooth and that was enough.
>>216775360RIP!
>>216776970don't even joke about that
>>216777035>watching random movie>topless quig shows upkino
>>216776883love this
>>216777188Had this recently in Silent Night Deadly Night. Maybe the only set of implants I actually think look good.
Forget Avatar, everyone will be slithering to see Daniela Melchior on Boxing Day in Anaconda 2025.
>>216776367I liked Bugonia. My only note is some of those were bumblebees
>>216767449You can have characters that aren't good people. But you're supposed to like the fact they're in the film. I can't name a film where I hated all the characters but the film is great.
>announce a remake of Possession with Robert Pattinson starringPraying this doesn't actually happen.
>>216775360Baltimore is bad vibes when you drive thru it. Pelosi's dad was akin to a mafia boss there for a long time.

>>216777597Straight up show her die in the trailer
Just finished. December to Dismember double feature at Alamo Drafthouse. Pair of holiday themed horror flicks and pic was movie 1. Really a stretch calling this a Christmas movie though technically true. Struck me this time how much like a Universal monster movie it was. Definitely not good, but there was some nuts stunt work. The two part chase where the first half is a taxi cab running on its rims and second is a person handcuffed to the car steering it from outside was really impressive.Second was Black Xmas 2006 and boy does that movie suck. Barely makes sense and the only good thing is the cast. Struck me as funny that the killer in this has a liver condition that turns his skin yellow and a liver disease was what killed Michelle Trachtenberg. God's such a goofy gus.
>>216779497Colleen was such a babe.
>>216779842lol really. what are people gonna look at for the rest of it, a cgi snake.the original had an awesome animatronic.
>>216779952amazing fire stunts in that series too. I feel like the 90s was the stunts era. everything had to have a car blow up or a motorbike jump or whatever.
>>216779974It's Jackson for me
>>216779025She's nude in this other Romero film, Knightriders (1981)
>>216779497I cannot emphasise enough that the true moral is you never housesit for Harry Nilsson

How are Silent Night Deadly Night 3-5?
>>216780524You'd definitely leave them in
>>216760760giga kino https://youtu.be/nu03fCS7hgc
>>216780558They suck but 3 and 5 are worth a watch.
>>216780023Og Anaconda is so stupid I love it. Stacked cast and the animatronic still looks greathttps://youtu.be/-kvTgUTy-wY?si=ciltmU7rk1uMJHCz
Ten years later how do we feel about Krampus? Is it officially a Christmas horror classic yet?
>>216780749Fuck even the CGI looks good. Almost 30 years on and I guess nothing beats real artists given some time and space.
>>216780828Personally I think it's toothless and unfunny, but I get people who do like it. I'm not nuts about Trick 'r Treat either, though it's obviously miles better than the former movie.
>>216780174No shit, I'm going to have to look that up.
>>216780828i remember living in my first apartment and my roommate and i would take turns picking out movies from redbox. this was one of his picks and i thought i would hate it but it was pretty fun
>>216780828
>>216781105Forget I attached that webm. Well watch it anyway.>>216780828Eh it's kind of surface level. Good SFX and the idea of Krampus is cool, but doesn't fully sink in.
>>216780828Its one of those movies I wrote off when it came out but it was also before I really got into and paid attention to horror movies. These days I personally enjoy it
This was just a Black Phone rip off...
>>216781573Like visually or...
>>216781701>Like visually and the whole child abuse narrative with a detached voice of a previous victim helping the kid...
>>216779497The girls sing Jingle Bells in this, so technically...
>>216781573It was more like Barbarian for kids.
>>216779334TRVKE(luv me Babs too tho). Also Cat People is a /hor/ Christmas classic in this household because it has Mr. McCallister from Home Alone.
this chubby girl youtube suggested to me says The Long Walk is the best film of the year. Thoughts?
>>216782712Just because it's Stephen King doesn't make it horror and this isn't horror. Also it sucked and she's not very cute.
>>216782712>Thoughts?I'd buy her a pizza then rail her on my couch to some real Kingkino (Carrie).
>>216782712She should be watching this King movie instead.
>>216783159DAMN
>>216783159heyoo
Watched Toolbox murders (2004) it was better than expected, for a fucking slasher movie. I think I've seen the movie like 15 years ago. I also rewatched the original from 1978 - pretty cool movie, first watched it was I was a kid, you might not believe it but I could rent movies from a local video store, they didnt give a fuck, like I rented TCM when I was 13. Hoopers movie is better though, even his mid rank movies have something interesting in it, like The Mangler. I just played RE 7 for the first time to, a fucking masterpiece. The createos must been inspired by TCM right? I love the decadent southern shit thats going on.
What's a film on your list that you've put off for years because you're never in the mood
>>216783824Rape is a Circle
Reading the Ring books. It's weird that they got such a successful horror franchise out of a sci-fi medical thriller about a rapist investigating a case of magic smallpox.
>>216783824Rubbers Lover. It's a sequel to that 964 Pinocchio film but there always seems like an easier watch than black and white Japanese schizo porn. Also Body Melt because I eat dinner watching movies and that melt snot face screenshot puts me off.
>>216783838>Two young women hitch a ride from a woman and endure humiliating perversions and excruciating pain as they are forced to perform sexual acts on strangers and each other.it seems like one of those 2000s films intentionally trying to make it's audience not like it
What people here think of labels like arrow videos of 88 films, whenever I see movies discussed here its been released by one of these modern labels - have they been important to revitelize the horror movies? I like some of these though like third window movies, but its kinda lame the Collector bs has started, with limited edition crsp of movies I downloaded with torrents like 20 years ago, us ut for reddit fags?
putting on Dead Snow. didn't know it was in norwegian but I'll plow on.
>>216783947I didn't even know that's what it was about,Sounds pretty good, kek!>>216783913That movie is so annoying. Pinocchio is MUCH better. Body Melt is funny, I don't think it'll bother you as much as you think. If you were okay with Street Trash you'll be fine.
>>216784168Every time I go press play this dude jumps into my mind and I have spaghetti or something in front of me.
>>216783947Actually, you're reminding me that I have prepped August Underground so many times for two decades and have just never gone through with it. I have watched a ton of those faux snuff movies but think this one is going to be just grating.
>>216784190He's got an expression on his face like he just saw a tasty plate of spaghetti
>>216784156The sequel was filmed in both Norweigen and English since the actors were all bilingual anyways.
>>216784113I mean it's fucking amazing to watch all these low budget movies in such high quality. they just look so good in comparison to the modern digital slop, I thank them for their service just for that.never been a better time to watch movies, zoomers should thank the stars they aren't subjected to the blasphemy of watching a 300mb rip of a beautiful classic.
>>216784190I made a /hor/ thread once with that face as the OP and a mod deleted the pic. Never seen that happen before or since
>>216784268not safe for spaghetti
>>216784190>HE'S STILL GOT IT
>>216784268kek
Y'all are making me hungry
I stopped watching films much since covidwhat are the best horror movies of this decade so far?
>>216784508nosferatu
>>216784508anon... I have some bad news for you. movies somehow got worse.I guess watch Deadstream, and the Terrifiers.
>>216784532sucked
>>216784545i don't care about your daily activities
>>2167845332024 is one the best years for horror movies
>>216784508My actual two favourites are Mad God and Missing Child Videotape.Wouldn't recommend them to a normie though, just watch Smile, The Substance, Weapons, Black Phone 2, Nosferatu for the bigger ones people generally enjoyed. When Evil Lurks, as well.
>>216784720Black Phone*, force of habit
Hardly a horror but I watched Dracula: A Love Tale. It's like Disney movie version of Dracula, and I don't even mean that in a bad way.
>>216785032that's a good description if you discount the giga slut vampire chained in the basement. isn't terrible though, has flashes of beauty. goes on too long at the end with boring fighting scenes though. impressive amount of extras throughout the film though.
Dead Snow was actually pretty good. I thought it was gonna be a le nazi horror comedy but it was more like a Wrong Turn film.
>>216783824Jacob's Ladder, 9th configuration

>>216785864man I put off Jacob's Ladder for ages as well, because I thought I had the plot spoiled. it's really not that kind of film though and is quite comfy. check it out.
>>216785865>3.7/10 scorei think i'll pass
>>216785937Enjoy missing out. How does it feel to do whatever pajeets, bots, and retards tell you to do? You must also think Get Out is a horror classic and better than ANOES since it has a better IMDB rating than it.
>>216785962fuck off pissman
>>216785865>it has finally come outgee I wonder what prompted that
>>216785982>point out how retarded anon is>hurr durr pissmanThanks for admitting I'm right and you're wrong. I accept your concession. Please enjoy your all-time great Get Out, since that's what IMDB tells you. Filtered. Reply more, I'll never see it. I know you can't resist.
>>216786023Probably finally got enough pre-orders to make it financially viable to release it. Makes sense it took so long, since it's not a movie people know about.
>>216783824That Hatching one because anon told me it was a sadStill want to see it when I want to feel sad tho lol
>>216786925The New York Ripper will make you feel sad.
>>216787099I watch that when I'm happy
>>216783824i know they're both recent but Red Rooms and Exhuma have been on my list for awhile. just haven't really been in the mood for a 2 hour slow burner
is this considered horror?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y73w8pXtmZY
