>>216791735Hereditary blew me away. It doesn't follow the traditional "build up > release > build up" formula. Scary moments are still sprinkled throughout the movie but it pivots a little to the point where it's more about family drama than a horror, except midway through the tension starts to build up and culminates in the final 10 minutes, which are abso-fucking-lutely terrifying.
