Why was it forgotten about so quickly?
>>
>>216803369
It got demolished by Family Guy in a single gag
Also, it was always pretty bad, if we're being fair
>>
>BACK IN THE NINETIES
>I WAS IN A VERY FAMOUS TV SHOW
>>
>>216803395
'fraid so
>>
The constant therapy speak is tiresome, no rewatchability and it's aged horribly
>>
>>216803369
it had a satisfying and resolving ending that left you content so people don't feel the need to talk about it endlessly
>>
>>216803369
Because it's fucking shit
>>
This show was peak Millenialism

>Le Nihlistic depressed main character who spouts constant woe is me shit
>Constant quips and pop culture references of the 80s and 90s
>Liberal overtones for its messages
>>
>>216803447
You forgot
>Goyflix
>>
>>216803447
I really hate being a millenial. We are the gayest fag generation ever.
>>
>>216804053
At the very least you gave Zoomers a thing to rebel against. That's why wokeness isn't appealing anymore
>>
>>216803369
A 6 word long joke was all it took to irrevocably destroy this shows legacy
>>
I remember this show had an episode really early on where they talked about not infantilizing women, and then in later seasons every time a woman did something awful it was glossed over or played for laughs, while every time bojack or peanut butter did something bad it became a lengthy plot point showcasing what teeeeeerrible people they where

NORMAL
>>
>>216803369
it's pretty impressive if you binge it but it has no standout lines or moments that aren't traumabait, it has no meme potential. It's your standard 20th century beatnik horseshit, really.
>>
It wasn't forgotten, you're taking about it right now. Bojack will never be forgotten.
>>
Substance abuse, suicide, childhood trauma and human misery but it's a horse. Oh, and Hollywood sucking it's own cock. Hilarious!
>>
>>216804458
anyone ever find out why it was based on a 2 minute time green skit but he was never credited?
>>
>>216803369
>being rich is soooo hard
People watched this shit?
>>
>>216803369
Thanks for reminding me. I’m going to go watch it again now.
>>
>>216804156
What words?
>>
>>216805084
it's basically about the two Coreys
>>
>>216803369
I have never seen the show, but I have seen post from people who love the show, and those people are the most insufferable, autistic types you can think of. They are usually "non-binary" and are proud to be on spectrum or some shit not to mention they are also proud to be socially inept.
This is one of the few shows I refuse to watch because of my observation of it's fanbase, and Ive seen MLP
>>
>>216804053
You haven't been around zoomers much, evidently
>>
>>216805232
Normal words but a horse guy!
>>
>>216805442
That's stupid
>>
>>216805461
That was the point. What was funnier was how that simple stupid joke mindbroke the entire Bojak fanbase including it's own creator.
>>
>>216803369
creators got mad too many people found Bojack funny/relatable so they self sabotaged the show to make it about how Bojack is the worst guy ever and asspulled a drug addiction/rape plotline to make him le bad
>>
>>216805508
>mindbroke the entire Bojak fanbase including it's own creator
Did it really? There's nothing even there
>>
>>216805442
What's the joke?
>>
>>216803447
It's peak celebrity. This is how famous actors process their psychopathy.
>>
>>216804458
>Horseshit
I see you, anon
>>
>>216805367
It's all about ponies with you, isn't it?
>>
>>216805442
>Family Guy
Simpsons but not as good!

I'm tired of stuff that's about the industry it comes from. I don't want to listen to music about being a musician; movies/shows about show business; games about games/development; books about being an author.

hollywood has gotten more and more insular. the people involved in the whole process have either done it their whole lives or are young and haven't done anything else. it's why no modern actors can squint like Eastwood; it's tough to do that if you went to fucking Juilliard, while most every old action hero actor had a period of time doing real jobs.

it's why everything is thematically similar these days. nobody has any diverse lived experiences, so you just get everything being about grief/loss/cycle of violence, or depression, or racism. which I'm sure this stupid fucking show has all three.

I want to hear about human beings.

no it did not. No need to lie.

>>216805510
I noticed this pivot too. So dumb! Their sabotage did not work anyway.
>>
>>216803369
Literally the definition of pretensious

>deep discussion with little meaning or outcome
>complete hollywood circlejerk

I never fucking understood why anything after the first season was talked about other than millenials not wanting to feel left out.

I watch a lot of art film and plenty of ridiculous over the top shit. but this feels more pretentious than all of them.
>>
>>216803369
it's shit
