>>216807282>When did you stop watching?I think after Season 5 or so I started reading the comics and realized the show was genuinely never good.For any of you that still haven't touched them, I encourage you to at LEAST read the first 50 issues. They are pretty short and have an incredible pace.
I watched the main show all the way through and I probably shouldn't have, but season 9 was when it stopped being a priority to watch it live and I stopped loving the show enough to watch Talking Dead at all in the middle of season 7. I gave up on Fear in season 3 with that prepper ranch (literal retcon of the military in the season 2 finale), tried again when Morgan showed up, and gave up again when there was a bunch of white gypsies whose group gimmick was literally just sitting outside a settlement waiting for it to fail so they can take whatever stuff is left. I've never watched any other spinoffs besides some webisodes back in the first few seasons and can't even be bothered with the one that brought Rick back. Absolutely burnt on the franchise and will probably never watch it again.
