Is this worth watching? I never read nor intend to read the books.
No.Read the books,
>>216837662Weirdly I liked the movie but the main character was unlikable
Not really, it's a very generic science fiction with a cast of annoying kids.
>>216837662most hollywood sci fi movies are not worth watching
>>216837662No. The book isn't good either btw. Trite moralizing sludge. Genociding the aliens was good and just in every way.
>>216837662Han Solo in this movie?
Probably the sci-fi version of Holes (2003). Definitely worth a watch, regardless.
The movie is fairly accurate to the book but somehow lacks any of its spark, its originality.btw I got the audiobooks after seeing the movie.Interesting difference is that the bully in the book was a tall handsome spaniard way older than Ender, in the movie they picked some ugly midget that would not be able intimidate a kitten, just disgust.the book is short and goodand the sequels are really weird and start slowly, but they pick up the pace and get goodits one of the series I often think about as there are some heavier thinking parts...The writer used to be a christian missionary or something and it sometimes felt, but not in some bad way. There is no wokeness, just maybe his unconscious homosexuality
>>216837662I know a couple who named their son Ender. They’re fat retards.
>>216837672>>216837700The book was meh. As I read it as an adult. But 12 year old edgy me would have loved the shit out of it. >12 yesr old autismo boy great at strategy games is the key to saving the galaxy and nuking a bunch of insect bugs
>>216837662Is this Harrison Ford's worst movie, or has he actually been in something even worse than this crap?
>>216840257Firewall and cowboys and aliums are worse
>>216837662The book is crap and the film is worse
