The actors they got to play the younger versions of them are very good. Especially the guy who plays young Phil. It's a shame the actors keep getting used in flashbacks because they'd be fantastic as a couple of long lost Mitchell nephews in the show proper

I was very sad to see Anna Knight leave this year. She wasn't played by the strongest actress but the character was sweet with a good heart. Sometimes you need characters to build a community, not everyone can be a leading star.

I don't know how anyone watches modern soaps.
It's like they compete with each other to see how woke they can make it.
Last time I checked out corrie they literally had a storyline involving a gay priest who was married to a disabled man who was dying.

Nigel's dementia has given some really comfy scenes between him and Phil. For long term fans its been a real treat.
