Season 1 was too fast for me. I demand an extended cut with more shots of people driving, skies with planes flying above and nature being nature. I also really like it when a mundane object is in focus of the shot and there is activity behind it being out of focus, it gives me a great feeling of tension being built and nicely creates the illusion of something happening. So hopefully more shots of a whiskey glass with Carol out of focus buzzing around behind it can be added.

Honestly the scene at the start of this episode is one of my favorite scenes in the entire show and about as good as the stuff that happened in the first episode (I was lucky enough to watch the show having no idea about anything other than knowing that it was sci-fi). I love how fucking creepy it was.

It reminds me a lot of this manga. The scariness is in how I could see myself falling for it, and I basically got to see it play out over time. I finally watched it, best ending ever. I wasn't sure about that until I read IMDB comments and each persons review was about 50% like/dislike even the 3/10 and the 10/10 rofl this is Bravo to 11/10 Bravovincetasticness.

I think I understand the show now the ending conversation connected the entire thing into a nice package, this show is about the power of cults, cult thinking, hiveminds and probably internet discourse and AI somewhere in there too. When you realize that all these people are super high on all the happiness chemicals that they can't break free out of was really freaky. Also I guess you could even point to drug use.

The brilliant point they made about how good for an ant and good for a human is different things was great also the point where the oppression of the aliens is keeping people alone and isolated so that they need the "love' of the hivemind was so so good. Very psychological real life cult behavior.

Once I watched it second viewing the Peruvian girl felt way more sad and I finally understood what actually was going on ngl lol that was the stem cells.
