Season 5 might as well be a different show. The tonal shift between seasons 2 and 3 was not as half as jarring as this.

The one good thing I will say is that the actor that plays Henry is very good. It's pretty amazing how easily he can switch from the nice persona, the sinister persona, 001, and the big CGI vecna will basically just facial movements and inflection.

He may be the best actor. Though they kinda ruin it because all of his big scenes he's under CGI

There's some recency hatred, but no. Nothing will ever come close to how awful game of thrones ended. This season of stranger is still bad, but there are good thing here and there and you can ignore some of the schlocky shit if you want to just focus on the fun parts.
