Sounds cringe but the enlightened perspective is that the zodiac is likely not on the short list or even identified as a suspect. Arthur leigh allen can be eliminated as a suspect solely off of his size.
Allen was 6’2 and over 250lbs. The zodiac was seen by multiple people and nobody had him anywhere near that size. Somebody would have mentioned he was a big guy if it was allen. In addition to that, he doesnt match the fingerprints from the paul stine murders. Also, allen was a bonafide pedophile, yet the zodiac victims were something like 17-early 20s. Thats not the victim pool of a pedo like allen.

literally anyone considering ALA is the one person absolutely exonerated by dna testing. he was a creep and he loved the attention but he was not the zodiac.
>>
>>216919360
he also said he's not the zodiac, you can see him saying it right there in op's image
>>
>>216918918
The crimes attributed to the Zodiac weren't all committed be the same person. The guy who wrote the newspapers with the ciphers and who coined the name was clearly obsessed with making a name for himself and almost certainly took credit for a bunch of shit he didn't actually do. That's why none of the evidence can really pinpoint a single suspect.

Leigh Allen may have committed some of the murders but he was clearly not the guy who sent the letters. Once you understand that it's easier to put together a working theory.
>>
The encrypted letters weren’t sent by the real zodiac.
>>
>>216919460
The Zodiac was mass hysteria. They did it to themselves so stop blaming me.
>>
>>216919460
You dont know what youre talking about. Part of paul stines bloody shirt was in one of the letters. The zodiac also wrote on the car door by the lake berryessa murders. The letter writer is obviously involved and not some random. One or more of the murders being a copycat is possible though.
>>
>>216919310
>omebody would have mentioned he was a big guy
perhaps he wasn't for the people who saw him
>>
>>216919460
23&me will legitimately track down the guy who wrote the letters eventually. I don't know if commercial DNA databases were a deliberate fed operation or not but it's clearly one of the best law enforcement brakthroughs they've had in a long time.
>>
>>216919460
I believe this theory. I’ve personally perpetuated and even built upon the legacies of several shitposters/schizophrenics on /vg/. I’m not unique. There’s an entire discord server dedicated to Lee posting. If we do stupid shit like this for attention it stands to reason our forefathers did too.
>>
>>216919602
Well the dna fad already peaked so those lazy fucks need to hurry up
>>
>>216919561
I should have been more clear. The letter writer absolutely committed at least a few of the murders, he was not some rando.
>>
>>216919497
He sent fabric that was torn off the shirt of one of his victims in one of the letters to verfiy it was him sending them dipshit
>>
>>216919642

Just kill them where you find them and set their body/the location on fire to destroy DNA evidence. Also cover your face and wear gloves, and leave your phone at home. Ideally don't drive either. Set fire to your clothes and anything else used to carry out the crime at a later time.

Easy. Make sure you already have no prior criminal history when you do this: drive in a car that you aren't normally seen in at night, and visit the run-down, seedy area of a town or city that's a good distance away from where you live. Target a woman, namely one that is a sex worker, homeless, or a drug addict. Kill her via gun and leave her body behind, or kill her via gun and take her body with you before slowly making your way back home. If you care to, pick up any empty casings you left, and obviously wear gloves.

Odds are overwhelmingly likely you will NEVER get caught simply because you've never killed anyone before, and the local police won't quite know how to pin you down if you're a "one and done" type of murderer.
>>
>>216921761
Whatever car you take can be traced from the scene of the crime back wherever you drove it from via traffic cameras. Also where are you getting this car? If its connected to you in any way, thats a problem. If you steal it, thats another problem and adds complexity.

>>216919798
They likely died at the hand of another conspirator. Serial killers KNOW each other, they used to communicate through coded messages in back pages, send each other letters and make sure to not prowl each other's turfs. Zodias was likely a conglomerate of affiliates.
>>
>>216921761
That and killing someone you dont know makes it hard to get caught
>>
>>216919955
None of the fun ways. You have to be incredibly impersonal, and moving the person creates a new crime scene every time, providing more evidence and opening up new charges. I imagine in the third world there are many serial killers, but in the first world they usually get caught before they can get numbers or they go spree for attention, since that's the new "celeb killer".
>>
>>216920461
Most first kills for a serial are opportunistic, but because no modus has been established they usually go unnoticed until later.
>>
>>216924845

>>
>>216919955
>easy mode
a rudimentary firearm is easy as fuck to make with 3d printing, then it's just doing a drive by to a random nobody while leaving your phone at home watching youtube
>hard mode
assuming you have a target and no criminal history, similar method. speed blitz their home at night using either an illegal firearm and mag dump their bodies. get away has to be by foot to a person in waiting's car without cctv picking you up. intel is 99% of getting away with a crime. it's shockingly more common than you think and most idiots get caught because they're retards with a rap sheet longer than your mom's saggy asscheeks.
then like another anon said dump your clothes, weapons, and evidence into the flames

>>216927320
Yeah, BTK fits in with that too. They wanted the notoriety just as much if not more than they enjoyed killing. Guys like Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer had a compulsion/addiction to it and never would’ve been able to stop for long.
>>
>>216927377
Jeffrey Dahmer will always be the most interesting, because deep down his human side didn't want to kill. He had to get wasted and blast metal music, hype himself up. He talked about how not killing would cause him physical pain. Truly abnormal, even in the Serial Killer world.
