I thought about how Cameron missed the mark with Spider and how the discussion between them would have been a great opportunity for Quaritch to say he died for a cause and ask Spider if he wouldnt do the same if the entire race he cared about was at risk, and how Spider could have reflected on that when he was about to be killed by Jake, eventually helping him to make the choice to accept death. That would have been a better way to connect him and Quaritch because as it is it just falls flat. Quaritch tries again and again to save him and Spider never even hesitate between the two, and thats the 3rd time now it happened
