The point is that Apple asked Vince to come up with a huge hit for them like BB and BCS but he couldn't really think of anything so he just used a classic scifi trope and is stretching the fuck out of it by adding tons of filler and his usual How It's Made type non-scenes
I tried getting back into it, but catering to Apple viewers, means I have some self-centred bitch that doesn't want to connect with the race as a whole.
