The world hates Jesus. Digits confirm.

The property is a meandering mess with an overall messy, terrible message. Lewis was and is a terrible writer with an aberrated view of what Christianity is and should be. Anything remotely of substance falls apart after the first book anyway.

You're a fag but I wish we'd gotten Space Trilogy movies instead. Narnia is a poor man's LOTR.

Reminder aslan is the demiurge

It's not a coming of age story like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, or Star Wars. Narnia is primarily about the world, not the characters. The Pevensie kids have much smaller roles after the first two books/movies. The source material doomed Narnia to fail as a blockbuster series.

at least the adaptation was better tham the golden compass, my favorite book the northern lights adaptation sucked ass

How would they adapt this?

1 was good and 2 was decent. didn't watch the other. I think the main problem is the overarching story is pretty loosely connected between the individual books. lot of timeskips and such. like imagine the two towers was hundreds of years later and the majority of the cast from the first film disappeared.

17 years pass between Frodo being given the ring and leaving the Shire, the film wisely omitted this.

As much as I love the space trilogy I never want to see it made into movies.
In case you haven't noticed Hollywood has gone out of it's way to shit on every book adaptation they can get their hands on--especially science fiction written by and for white people.
