the basics of the show, the gothic art deco noir, and the serious detective tone, the major archetypes of the joker and batman being pitch perfect deserve the credit that's been lavished on them but don't expect every episode to be kino of the highest order. there's a lot of dopey kid's show tropes and out left field clunkers you're going to need to get through in between the good stuff..
There are very good episodes like the one where Bruce Wayne is captured into slavery and a normie helps him out then he comes back as Batman and annihilates the factory and frees everyone which was my favorite. Then there are really bad episodes like the one where Batman is unconscious in a kids basenment and it's basically home alone were they kids have to protect Batman from the Penguin who the writers despised using as a character and it showed.

Don't watch any of the later movies from the 2010s they're all ass. It's alot of content, but it is worth the pay off of seeing characters return later there are things set up in superman that pay off in justice league etc. It really is the best on screen adaptation outside of Superman being a pussy in season 1 justice league, but they fix it in season 2 and explain it away well for why he was like that.
