I always hear comments and see things in the media referencing the first Die Hard most of the time. Are there any other Die Hard films in the series you think are worth watching more than once or on par in some capacity to the first? For me the first Die Hard sequel that comes to mind is Die Hard with a Vengeance. Bruce Willis and Samuel Jackson were great in the 3rd Installment. The humor was on point and it had memorable action sequences that were entertaining.

I like this one about as much as I like the first one. I also thought it was a vast improvement over the second Die Hard.

I always watch all three. 2 is the weakest movie sure, but it's still really good.

I liked 3 because it was a new take on the buddy cop trope.

This. The trilogy is pretty solid as far as action franchises go. The second film is a bit corny dialogue wise. I hate how McClane is almost deified in that one too. The two directed by McTiernan are clearly the best but each film has their merits and flaws.

I like 3 but it falls off the rails in the last third so much. Any time I watch it for the first half I’m enjoying it a lot then by the end I’m like oh I remember why I forgot this movie
