Watching Marty Supreme I realised how much the Safdie's owe to OPN, and how little the average viewer will realise that the cold pounding pressure in their films is directly driven by the score. What is your favourite film score, and which film do you think has the best sound design?

>sound Endless Love starring a teenage Brooke Shields is my favorite example of what not to do. Maybe the worst I've ever heard. Probably not a coincidence there's a few live music performances which sound perfectly fine. So I'm convinced they hired a studio engineer or whatever for the music who then otherwise had no idea how to run sound for a movie. So again possibly a perfect example of what not to do.
I've been listening to the Great Courses movies lectures and the sound section really was fascinating
