Why are people so afraid to say something looks shitty? Why do people need to dress their opinions in faux-intellectualism like, “historical accuracy” or “period appropriate?” I don’t hate the Odyssey because they’re not wearing bronze horn helmets. I hate the Odyssey because every scene we’ve seen is this bland, ponderous garbage that looks like it was ripped straight from a “dark 80s fantasy” AI video. The scene of Agamemnon turning around looks identical to the shit you’d see in a 6-second Indian made fake trailer. This shot is bland and lifeless. Drained of color and personality. I can say this and you can’t refute it, so why do people spend so much time and effort saying it’s bad for reasons that some other nitwit can claim is deep or cinematic?
>>216937570I think it has color and personality.
>>216937570It looks good. The accurate armor is shitty.
>>216937570>This shot is bland and lifeless. Drained of colorI just learned the other day that Nolan is colorblind. Which now explains why his movies lack so much color
>>216937570Congrats, you finally understood how boring Nolan's direction is

If you will watch it with turned off sound, you will realize that it looks like supercut of clips that have the same patterns AI generated videos have: weird slow camera movements and weird slow zoom ins.
