TOTAL RECALL 2: THE MINORITY REPORT (1992)>Douglas Quaid (Arnold Schwarzenegger) has been named to captain of the newly-created Pre-Crime Unit, which uses psychic mutant children from the slums of Mars to prevent impending crimes. Quaid is soon named as a future murderer and must go on the run to prove his innocence and prevent the misuse of the psychics.
GLADIATOR 2 (2006)>Maximus (Russel Crowe) awakens in Limbo after dying in the Coliseum and befriends the hermit Mordecai, who takes him to an ancient temple, where Maximus meets the dying Roman Gods, about to be replaced by God in the minds of the humans. Their leader, Jupiter, gives Maximus the mission to slay their brother, Hephaestus, in exchaging for reuniting with his wife and son in the Elysium Fields. Maximus accepts, but is told by Hephaestus that Jupiter manipulated him and that his wife sacrificed her soul so that their son could be reborn. Hephaestus offers Maximus the chance to return to life and reunite with his son, but warns that this will take its toll. Maximus accepts.>Upon returning to life, Maximus discovers that Emperor Commodus' nephew Lucius, now an adult, has been driven insane by the death of his mother Lucilla and is hunting down the Christians, which he blames for Rome's current poor state. Lucius meets with his son Marius, now a young man who believes in God, and vows to train the Christians to fight Lucius and the Roman soldiers, aided by Juba (Djimon Hounsou) and Mordecai's ghost. After a big battle between the two armies in the woods outside of Rome, Marius kills Lucius and Maximus leaves after saying his goodbyes to his son.>It is then revealed that Maximus was reborn as Haphaestus' champion on Earth and has become immortal, fighting in several wars, including World War I, World War II and many others, until finally becoming a military advisor in the modern-day Pentagon amid the Iraq War.
EI8TH (1996)>David Mills, driven insane by the death of his wife, escapes from prison, and his old partner William Sommerset (Morgan Freeman) is called to stop him. Due to psychic powers that he has suppressed since childhood, Sommerset has developed a telepathic link to Mills and races against time to stop his murder spree.
THE DEPARTED 2 (2008)>Sean Dignam (Mark Wahlberg) resigns from the Boston Police Department and becomes a private investigator. He is located by an FBI agent who uses evidence of his role in Colin Sullivan's murder to blackmail Dignam into going undercover in the inner circle of a corrupt politician (Robert De Niro) with ties to organized crime. Dignam soon realizes the corruption has spread to the FBI as well and that he's being set up as a scapegoat and must figure out a way to survive long enough to expose the truth.
JURASSIC PARK 4 (2006)>Mercenary Nick Harris (David Boreanaz) is hired by John Hammond, whose company has been taken over by Grendel Industries, run by Baron Von Drax, to infiltrate Isla Nublar and retrieve the DNA samples stolen by Dennis Nedry, which Hammond intends to use to create a new batch of asexual dinosaurs that can slay the existing dinosaurs and rectify Hammond's mistake.>In the island, Nick is ambushed by Excavaraptors and rescued by mercenaries hired by Grendel Industries, who capture and transport him to a secret research center in the Swiss Alps, where Nick meets Dr. Adrian Joyce, a brilliant geneticist who has created five hybrids with traces of human DNA, dog DNA and dinosaur DNA. The hybrids have been commissioned by the United States government as black ops operatives, and, due to his extensive military background, Nick has been selected to train and lead them.>The Hybrids are named Achilles, Hector, Perseus, Orestes and Spartacus, and can speak, wield guns and operate advanced suits of armor. Nick then leads them in battle against Mexican drug cartels and their dinosaur enforcers, who had taken an entire small town hostage and threatened to kill its inhabitants if their demands to the United Nations are not met before a deadline of 48h.
BATMAN UNCHAINED (1999)>Batman (George Clooney) fights crime alone once again after Robin (Chris O'Donnell) leaves Gotham due to disagreements about Batman’s methods and Batgirl (Alicia Silverstone) returns to England to complete her studies. Meanwhile, biochemist Jonathan Crane (Nicolas Cage), who wants revenge on Bruce Wayne for cutting his research funds, joins forces with toymaker Harley Quinn (Madonna), who wants revenge on Batman for the death of her father, the Joker, and they expose Batman to the fear toxin and lock him up at Arkham Asylum.>At Arkham, Batman is put on trial by hallucinations of his past enemies – the Joker (Jack Nicholson), the Penguin (Danny DeVito), Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones) and the Riddler (Jim Carrey) – but ultimately conquers his fears and manages to escape. He then makes amends with Robin and they join forces to prevent Crane, now calling himself “Scarecrow”, from spreading the fear toxin through Gotham. Harley, who doesn’t want to hurt innocents, betrays Crane and helps the heroes stop him. Crane and Harley are arrested, and Batman leaves Robin – now calling himself “Nightwing” – to protect Gotham while he goes on a spiritual journey to the Middle East.
