Yet another film where QT just exploits his foot fetish.
>>

I think I dropped when the priest got bitten. It was just too stupid.

the tarantino act is some of tarantino's all time best writing. the salma hayak scenes are painfully short and interspersed with retarded rodriguezisms.
>>
The middle half. Thought the beginning was to edgy and the wnd to repetitivd.
>>
>this movie is weird
>vampires start showing up
>hmm yeah it's still weird

desu young Juliette Lewis is kinda underrated. i preferred her.
>>216944790
i have the boring take that the film was genuinely fun until the vampire stuff escalated. those parts aren't jarring or unwatchable, mind you, just lame.

Juliette Lewis is disgusting

Whole movie is kino and I think it needs the second half to justify the first half. Tarantula is actually an incredibly competent writer, just for God's sake keep him out of the director's chair.
>>

He's a fine director but he's only really a good writer of dialogue. Scenario writing stuff is beyond his capabilities.
>>

The final scene was pretty decent, where it shows the Titty Twister is just the uncovered top-section of an ancient Mayan pyramid and the base is littered with hundreds of junked rigs. And obviously Salma Hayek.
>>
Its a little jarring. Its funny but thats the appeal i guess. Very over the top with the tonal shift.

Sinners does a better job but its got its own issues

Jay Kelly was a straight to Netflix dud, Quentin was right. You don't see Tom Cruise starring in that kind of shit.
