Explain this movie

Black man spec ops guy gets roped into helping the time cops stop some rando russian oligarch from blowing up the world with a time bomb. Spends about a third of the movie tard wrangling some annoying foid.

>Black person exists
>Society starts moving backwards
Seems pretty straightforward to me

Basically the jungian self. You move closer to god - god moves closer to you.
>>
>>216945455
I haven't seen it
>>
>putting the N on the black guy
BROVO NOLAN
>>
>>216945455
The gun he shoots with the inverted gun and bullet from when Neil died. The bullet still has some radiation left from neils skull and by putting it back in the gun and it will be reverted the time loop is closed
At the end of the battle the bullet goes into neils head and because of the radiation inverts back into the gun which hits another bullet and flies out of the back of the gun into the guys shoulder into the wall

>WWIII will be fought with time-bending weaponry.
>heh, just kidding. actually it’s the future generation trying to reverse time to escape some climate crisis.
>>
>>216945455
I didn't understand it.
>>
>>216946002
Same. I pick up more with each rewatch. It was helpful when I realized there are different levels of information.

>Most knowledge
- Female politician, Neil
- Protagonist
- Bad guy
- Bad guy's wife
>Least knowledge

I think it's key that the bad guy didn't know his wife would betray him. So maybe the protagonist was chosen to stop the bad guy before he created a time travel weapon.

this movie would suck even without the nigger lead, with him it is genuinely unwatchable
>>
>>216945455
It's about a guy that ordered his hot sauce one hour ago.
>>
No idea, I could not understand the dialog, the audio was so shit, literally worse than gameboy sounds.
>>
its easy to get if you pay attention to the plot
>>
>>216945455
It’s all about perception. Specifically with time. An old person may feel like a year went quick while a child may experience a year as lasting forever. In this case the main character was a nigger. Nolan went to great lengths to confuse the audience to relate to said nigger because niggers have no perception of time.
>>
>>216945455
the future has been devastated by climate change
and time travel has also been invented
so people decided to reverse the entropy of the past to prevent this devastation
the components for an entropic device were sent back to the past and a russian hired to assemble and activate it
tenet is an organisation founded in the not-so-distant future to go back and stop this

think of it as a scifi twist / post modern archetypal james bond film
>>
>pick an irishman to play an arab
>pick a brit to play a mexican
>pick a brit to play a russian
>pick all sorts of mystery meat to play ancient greeks

why is nolan so fucking lazy when it comes to casting
>>
whats the best part of the movie?
>>
>>216949560
The airport fight
>>
>>216949560
the boat race scene
>>
>>216945455
>Dude climate change is bad lmao

That's it
>>
>>216945455
Spy guy saves the world from evil rich guy and his Macguffin

That's it. It's just James Bond but with a time travel gimmick.
>>
>>216945455
Nolan wanted to make a film with really cool shots of things going in reverse so he built a "plot" around it.
Also Debicki tummy.
>>
>lmao, what if trash went backwards and time and we fought each other with the reverse entropy broken bottles... oh shit, the suicidal guy has a time nuke!?
>>
>>216945640
>stop some rando russian oligarch from blowing up the world with a time bomb
I never really understood why does he care, how does he know about time stuff and how did he even get the capabilities to make the bomb
>answer to all is: he's rich
that's pretty lame
>>
>>216949576
watched two scenes of that, it was lame as fuck, nolan cant choreograph shit
>>216949661
not interested in watching any more of this lol
>>
>>216950675
eco terrorists start sending him the parts to the bomb from the future.

>Explain this movie
Chris Nolan had a cool concept for a movie but no clue how to cram it into a watchable format

Its pretty straughtforward despite its mechanistic action scenes and the contrived way they recruit denzel washingtons son. Scientists use a nihilistic oligarch to preserve their future while the cia recruits his son and his unaware mentor to stop him. More authoritarian power fantasy from nolan.
>>
>>216945455
its a movie playing backwards, forwards
>>
>>216951714
Neil carried the entire movie. Protag was just an extra
>>
>>216945455
Would literally be an all time kino movie if they just cast a white dude. Same with the dune movies if they cast a white woman in instead of zendaya
>>
>>216945455
I hated this movie. Like actually hated it. There are movies that are bad that I turn off, but I emotionally, deeply, hated this movie.
>>
>>216952288
I would certainly pretend to like it if that were the case
