Absolutely. Who the hell wouldn't get into a series about giant walking robots battling it out under a futuristic feudal system? It has it all that one could ever want out of a television series. Inter-house feuds on galactic scales, soap opera tier character dynamics, amazing battle scenes. The problem is that it will sooner or later just be used as a vehicle to push the agenda and all the stuff that makes Battletech awesome gets shoved out the door, never mind being pushed into a corner. A show about giant walking mechs doing epic battle with lasers and untold amounts of ammunition blowing shit up sounds great on paper and will be used to rope you in for about 10 minutes into the pilot and then snap cut to the representative of House Kurita getting buttfucked by the Chancellor of the Capellan Confederation.

I'd rather just play Mechwarrior. Or shit, Earthsiege 2. Fuck it.
