You might be slightly nearsighted. Get an eye test if you haven't had one in the past couple of years. Especially if you're watching on a monitor instead of a TV.

Because cameras modify the aspect ratio, contrast, saturation, brightness, colour etc with their lens and algorithms, on top of that movies/shows go through different levels of production and post production, all of this essentially modifies the picture of whatever you are looking at, that's why in real life things look different
