I can't recall.In any case, the joke is just that the BoS is so stupid, and they're all such toxic, masculine males, that rather than be impressed and intrigued by what's clearly some strange life form that's been frozen, they're more enamored by the working freezer.I suppose you could argue that they're used to abominations and strange creatures in the wasteland, so perhaps they thought that it was just another mutant, while viewers can clearly recognize it as a stereotypical depiction of a little green man alien (and it looks like the kind we got in the FO3 Mothership Zeta DLC).Even still, we know a lot of BoS members in this are sheltered and rarely go out on patrol, so they're probably not used to seeing mutants and would be taken aback by this creature. Furthermore, they should recognize that it's wearing strange clothes, even in it's frozen state, so if any of them have wasteland experience, they should realize that perhaps it's not just another mutant.Therefore, we can conclude that it's just another way to make the BoS look retarded, but every faction and character in this show so far has been shown to be retarded in various ways. It's harder to find moments where anyone displays any sort of reasoning at all. It's just more fan service. It's almost impressive in how perfectly sloppish it is between the dumb script, the egregious fan service, and the exaltation of woke "values".
