This name triggered me more than anything else in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Ben is specifically the name Luke Skywalker used for Obi-wan Kenobi growing up, who is his quasi-uncle figure. It has zero connection to Leia or Han Solo. Yes Leia had connection to Obi-wan Kenobi, but only Obi-wan, not Ben Kenobi.So with that established, let us also establish that of the two parents, Leia and Han, Leia would be the one naming him, not Han, who doesn't have an family history (in Disney canon). Ok, now that is established, we can throw Ben out. What name would she come up with? What about Alderaan Solo in honor of her former destroyed home world? What about Bail Solo, in honor of her father? Hell what about Anakin Solo? I know that would would be a stretch, with the whole Vader history shit and all, but maybe they doing that Obi-wan shit there they separate Anakin from Vader. In no universe, do I see Leia naming him Ben Solo. Period.
