He then flips out and goes on a huge rants about how they have no life and no significant other or whatever, and about how many awards he's won for stage plays, and film - how he's better than them, and criticises their house, life, a what a pathetic loser they are before killing them.Dexter figures out the pattern and pretends to be their 'number one fan please', winding up with them on his killing table.The final irony is when Ford finds out he's the Bay Harbor Butcher, he fangirls out and tells him he inspired him to be a serial killer, actually pissing off Dexter who always hated that name, and he drives his knife through Ford's chest out of pure rage.

Dexter gets kinda fooled and fucked over in a similar manner to how his Ice Truck Killing bro fucked over Deb. It's like pottery.
