Will coming out as gay isn't even the issue with the episode, its the insane gravitas its given in the series penultimate episode thats the problem.Typically a penultimate episode in a show like this has a lot of weight to it as it can be the last time we see a lot of these characters together and is treated as a time to reflect and prepare for the coming storm of the finale. Its meant to leave you excited/fearful for whats to come and this episode doesn't do that at all. Compare the gang going into the upsidedown at the end of this episode being mostly cheery and excited to the end of the penultimate episode of S4 where its the gang in a van driving to the finale and its extremely somber showing every character scared of what their driving head 1st into.There is definitely room for a Will coming out scene this episode but it should have been an early/middle of the episode scene and just been with Joyce, Mike, Dustin, Lucas. Keep it intimate and dont make the scene some big epic Emmys moment. Everyone immediately was taken out of the scene when it pans to the whole room showing like 20 characters sitting around listening to Will talk about being gag which was just comical. Plus a show treating a character being gay as some huge moment in 2025 is some real patting yourself on the back shit.

Sadie is so clearly the only "kid" actor from this show who's going to have an actual career.

Haven't seen GoT, but I can't imagine the drop in quality being as huge as this season of Stranger Things. It's literally a different show, the pacing is retarded, the acting is abysmal by everyone (Sadie and Gaten maybe have some decent moments). The only thing of significance that has happened in 7 fucking episodes is that Max woke up. Everything else is just exposition, exposition, exposition, exposition, exposition, I'm gay, exposition, exposition, exposition.

I'll say it again:The only way this shitty season could be redeemed is if before Eleven's about to deliver the final blow, Vecna goes 'You can't do this, Jane! Because..." and they all break into a song and dance, including all the characters that died on previous seasons, one demo doing an elaborate breakdancing routine, the MF taking the shape of a guy doing some tapdancing, and Henry belting some serious operatic vocals. Maybe Mike dancing with Will to humor the seething fags. I'm not joking, this would cement it as the more KINO finale of all time. Obviously it'd only work if all the cast stands 100% behind it instead of shitting on it like the GoT cast did for season 8.
