When I was a kid, Consoles were king both handheld and at home, but in the multiplayer/Twitch era the computers are king and the smartphone is queen. While film/TV are slightly different, it's ultimately the same thing, people don't need 136 channels of cable, people don't need a store to rent the latest movies, people just need something on their TV that's giving off noise and spewing out some form of semi-followable content.
