Holy shit I just found out about Mere (Meredith)Smith.
She started out writing Buffy fanfics on the Buffy fansite while the show was still on the air.
Her work got attention and she got her big break. She wrote for the Buffy spinoff show Angel and also went on to write several episodes of HBO's iconic Rome series.


She worked on 2 of my favorite shows of all time. Based.
