I think my most memorable scene in the whole show, is when Barry's girlfriend gets attacked in her apartment, and she stabs the dude in the face, and it depicts the situation very realistically, he doesn't just immediately die, he starts panicking about how she got something stuck in his eye or something like that, even though he's got a blade poking in and out of his face, the shock and the adrenaline don't register it and it's really intense

Making him gay was way less funny and entertaining than making him obviously gay to everybody watching but still pretend straight.Making him a joke that Barry abuses constantly is fine when his main job is to be the comic relief, but trying to pull a switch at the last second in the last season was never ever going to work.Having him be the guy who Fuchs completely walks all over to prove the Fuchs is badass now robbed him of any sort of threat or severity and made the idea of him as an imposing villain impossible to execute.Very bad choices all around, just like most of the last two seasons.
