Is there any fanbase as retarded as this one? To be an adult and openly calling yourself a “Star Wars fan” is one of the most embarrassing things you can say. SW fans also think the OT should be held up on “all time greatest” lists when it comes to cinema and that just tells me they have watched fewer than one hundred movies in their lifetimes.

No. I like Star Wars, but I decided to never talk about it anywhere or interact with this "fanbase" that has the collective intellectual capacity and mental maturity of a six-year-old. 95% of the people who talk about Star Wars on the Internet are braindead subhumans.

I fucking hate star wars. It was myfavorite shit as a kid but my gods it has just been reduced to absolute trash and kept there by mismanagement, cynicism and stupidity for decades.

If Disney were smart they’d sell it for ip scrap, now that its about to be democratized by everyone making their own better films with ai anyway. And whoever buys it should immediately pull everything from distribution but the original trilogy, leave Andor & R1 up as the only ONLY prequels, and just start fresh with new sequels written by actual authors who understand story, character & structure. Just state that all other star wars content that was ever made was considered fan-made and non-canon & refuse to acknowledge its existence beyond that.
