Is there a more pretentious scene in all cinema?
>>
>>216971417
It isn't even pretentious, it was improvised bullshit
>>
>>216971417
Any scene from a tarkovsky or herzog flick.
>>
>>216971417
Any scene from any Sam Mendes movie.
>>

simple answer, yes

Hard to imagine Blade Runner without this speech. The film would be at least two points out of ten lower.

Funny how many iconic monologues (Tears in Rain, Indianapolis, Cuckoo Clock in Third Man, loads of R. Lee Ermey's stuff in FMJ, etc) were written by the actors themselves. But dialogue? Nothing like so much. I guess actors tend to be more concerned with themselves than anything else.

Human perfection will not be achieved if troons/foids will call it "pretentious" and get away with it.

>>
>>216972496
Would i say the same if the movie was not the same?
Fucking retard...
>>
>be me
>be old as fuck
>remember folk saying this exact same thing but in 1997 or so
Yeah, a few folk agree with you anon.
>>
>>216972560
people saying that in 1997 wouldn't make them any more right than it would today

it's not like when people in 1950 were asked who saved the world from hitler, and everybody said "the soviets"
>>
>>216972496
The whole point of the monologue was that Roy had seen and done and lived more in his brief short years than any of the earthcucks living in a pod and being downtrodden wagies and even if he had gotten his extended lifespan he’d end up just like deckard with the exact same pathetic existence.
>>
>"lasers, nigga"
>dies
What did he mean by this?
>>
>>216972650
a woman robot then
