Is there a more pretentious scene in all cinema?
>>216971417It isn't even pretentious, it was improvised bullshit
>>216971417Any scene from a tarkovsky or herzog flick.
>>216971417Any scene from any Sam Mendes movie.
>I saw explosions and stuff, my dudeok?????
>>216971417You haven’t seen many movies, have you anon?
>>216971417He should've let him go
>>216971417simple answer, yes
>>216971417Hard to imagine Blade Runner without this speech. The film would be at least two points out of ten lower.Funny how many iconic monologues (Tears in Rain, Indianapolis, Cuckoo Clock in Third Man, loads of R. Lee Ermey's stuff in FMJ, etc) were written by the actors themselves. But dialogue? Nothing like so much. I guess actors tend to be more concerned with themselves than anything else.
>>216971417>me watching this scene, supposedly to be some genius moment
>>216971632Quiet Lil zoomie
>>216971548Beat me to it lmao, it's like he started watching movies yesterday.

Why is he sharing crucial information with his enemy? Aren't robots supposed to be logical?
Which would it be 4chan?>normal life living in cyberpunk dystopia at a probably boring wagie jobOr>super soldier android pillaging the Galaxy for 4 years

>>216971417Human perfection will not be achieved if troons/foids will call it "pretentious" and get away with it.

>>216971654>>216971795>>216972191>>216972351Would you nerds say the same thing if woman was having this monologue instead of a cool space robot?
>>216972496Would i say the same if the movie was not the same?Fucking retard...
>be me>be old as fuck>remember folk saying this exact same thing but in 1997 or soYeah, a few folk agree with you anon.
>>216972560people saying that in 1997 wouldn't make them any more right than it would todayit's not like when people in 1950 were asked who saved the world from hitler, and everybody said "the soviets"
>>216972496The whole point of the monologue was that Roy had seen and done and lived more in his brief short years than any of the earthcucks living in a pod and being downtrodden wagies and even if he had gotten his extended lifespan he’d end up just like deckard with the exact same pathetic existence.
>"lasers, nigga">diesWhat did he mean by this?
