no. But the show is very shallow. Bad child actors, le white men bad, le negro good. Stupid military sideplot. Most Pennywise scenes are kino. Pilot episode is absolute garbage, show gets better after that. Stupid finale, retarded indian plot, retarded macguffin.It's not good, but it's not shit either.

The racism subplot is handled poorly. They should have stuck with the black spot history in the book but instead we have a hamfisted patsy storyline that doesnt go far enough (the racism is diluted, vague and unrealistic for some reason in the show). The mother who is also a civil rights activist is so stupid that you wouldnt want her on your side in the first place. She has no clue about the consequences of her actions or ramifications of her choices. Racism is something that Pennywise would use to his advantage but its weird that you have children being devoured and mauled but the show wont mention the n word. The fact that everyone on the military base and the wife knew something was wrong was also lore breaking but ill finish my rant here.
