Genndywars Grievous was insanely boring and the true version of Grievous was an interesting character who actually had nuance. A walking cabal of a superiority/inferiority complex who was once a great warrior who got addicted to performance enhancement via prosthesis. Each piece of him he progressively replaced he, in turn, lost what made him great to the point that even though he was vastly mightier than he ever was before, the nerve to risk it all for a victory was gone and he became a coward and would flee whenever the favor of a fight turned against him. Genndywars version was trash. But then again, everything Genndy had ever made is trash. Except for Dexter's Lab. That show was great.
