How dreadfully ordinary.

If hes supposed to be so damn Brfitish, then why did he embrace an african-american identity by doing hip hop?
>>
>>216978344
Why? What's he even done besides the Wire? He has a pretty mediocre filmography desu. If he wasn't black he wouldn't be getting knighted at all, let alone ahead of British contemporaries like Christian Bale and Ralph Fiennes.
>>
>>216978454
They probably thought he's been James Bond for the past decade.
>>
So if England is under attack will these celebrity "knights" actually defend the queen or will they retreat to their Malibu mansions?

Edris Ilba
>>
>>216978344
Why did bongs start handing out knightings to actors and fairly unremarkable people? Shouldn't that only be for brave men who served king and country?
>>
>>216978599
no, but Idris Elba will play the lead when they make a movie about it
>>
>>216978979
handing outb titles that carry zero obligation for either side is as classic as it gets

Ralph Richardson and John Gielgud were not barons either and they were better than Olivier.

Maybe so but she didn't make him a Baron. It's kind of a big deal, it's not like a regular knighthood.

the Queen was courted by her husband when she was 13.
her son (our current king) previously married a woman one year older than Virginia Giuffre, and that was lauded as 'a fairytale wedding' by Yanks.

how the fuck does shagging someone above the age of consent make you a paedophile? world's gone insane.

According to google the only benefits are the title itself and being allowed to marry at the St Paul's Cathedral.

Its that or the nightmare of having the inept, sociopathic monsters we call "Prime Ministers" as the actual rulers of the realm.
I'd rather have the monarchy any day.

lol, reminds me of in middle school, it must've been right after the Lillehammer Winter Olympics, they had this stupid thing for the school paper or yearbook or something where you were supposed to fill out a questionnaire or a poll, and one of the things was Best Couple, which was kind of dumb because no one really paired off and dated until high school. But anyway, we were going through the responses after class and the obviously gay kid had written Torvill and Dean. The girls laughed in a knowing way, "aw, Anon's answer".
Years, like 20 years later I saw the guy's mom at a local event and she said he lives in France now. "And you knew Anon was gay...."
I said we all kind of suspected so. No one was openly gay back then, not at 13, 14. Not in my small town.
He was a nice guy and I didn't bully him or anything. But when I tried to friend him on Facebook he declined me. Ooof. That was years ago though. I hope he's doing well in France. In "gay Parie" as they say. lol

It's 4chan. People don't respect anything. They think it makes them weak.
I've never understood why people posture like that on an *anonymous* forum. There's no need to be anything but totally open.

I'm guessing there's some paranoia in the back of their minds that somehow, some way, somebody's going to expose them. That doesn't stop them from being cruel, but it keeps them from being empathetic or respectful in a corny way.

>>216982347
yes, and i'm saying
>her son (our current king) previously married a woman one year older than Virginia Giuffre
Charles' wedding to Diana was treated as...nothing, a non-problem, just an adult man marrying an adult woman. it's all great, in fact!
hell, his son, Harry, shagged an older woman when he was 16/17 behind a pub, according to the book he put out.

there's the potential Andrew knowingly shagged a consenting-age girl who was being sex trafficked. the problem isn't that a man had sex with a 17-year-old. that's considered normal here, our age of consent is 16. gays FOUGHT for that (when they didn't have parity with heterosexual sex).

do you think it should (legally) be higher? is that what this comes down to?
