I really hate this trend of making movies and shows end on a cliffhanger then waiting 5 years to continue the story.

The second while not being bad didn't seem as cohesive or compelling as a story as the first one and hearing about how crazy the production was it's surprising it came out as well as it did. Hell the Spider-Man 2 game (which was also rife with behind the scenes drama) has a character that was supposed to be in this movie that doesn't even show up in the movie or is even mentioned making that whole collect-a-thon pointless. Earth 42 Miles looks cool though.
