>Why didnt the Pink Panther ever get syndication like other "classic" cartoons?I am 35 years old and as a child I always remember seeing looney toons, tom and jerry and Cayote and roadrunner on TV. Even newer shows like Flintstones, jetsons and rocky and bullwinkle but never the Pink Panther. My children have recently enjoyed watching the original series and it has a lot of similarities to Tom and jerry or roadrunner. So why did the Pink Panther get no major air time? Licensing issues?
