>over 30 years later
>still the greatest action film ever created, with nothing coming close
How did they do it?

Ask the director.
>>
Because all its themes are timeless. Heroism. Corruption. Greed. Crime. Its story is familiar today as it was when it first came out. Wanting to right all the wrongs of society, yet its society itself which is creating those wrongs in the first place
>>
It's not even top 10, it is good though
>>
>That edit where robocop shoots off multiple penises
Kino

I just watched 2 for the first time and was surprised by how good it was. The final battle is awesome.

Top 10 of all films. Easy

I watched it recently too
It was okay. Not bad, but certainly worse than the original. Felt like it was retreading what the first one did. And I didn’t like how it took away from the ending of the first one by having him basically be set back in his embrace of his humanity
Final fight was great, as was seeing the failed robocops killing themselves. Wasn’t a big fan of Cain himself though. He didn’t come across anywhere near as detestable as Clarence, but Murphy treated him with the same level of disdain
Also the music kinda sucked. Which given they didn’t have the same composer as 1 doesn’t surprise me

I thought Cain was going to go rogue and keep leading his gang as a robot. I was let down that he just spergs out during a demonstration like he’s just another ED-209.
He should have been turned into RoboCop 2 way earlier in the movie so we could have gotten more build up of him as a rival.

Yea. The final third of the film felt rushed
I will say, the stop motion looked great, especially the shot of him running up the elevator shaft. It’s one of those effects that somehow ages well because of how choppy it is. Gives off that uncanny valley vibe, but in a good way
>>
i didn't believe it until I watched it 2 years ago but it really might be the best action of all time, I used to say Die Hard, or Predator, or Terminator 2 but yeah Robocop overall is probably the best

Verhoven is great. Go watch Showgirls
>>
Robocop is great, but Avatar 2 and 3 are better action movies. They have different strengths than T2, but on the whole I would put them on the same elite tier.

Woy dont you watch the 4 hour making-of documentary to find out, faggot?

Too bad the Mandela Effect added a silly "sploot-fart" sound effect when the one dude who got toxic-wasted stumbles in front of the main bad guy's car.

Flesh+Blood bombed in the US, so Verhoven set out to make a movie American audiences would like filtered through his weird sensibilities.

For anyone who hasn't seen it yet.
