I thought the Thunderbolts actors looked really fucking bad and bland so I haven't seen this movie. I've only seen Fantastic Four ever since Endgame and while it was ok I despise Pedro Pascal as a person. I really don't like his face, it's really not aesthetically pleasing.

>>216993757that's not really the point. of course it will make $2 billion, its a fucking avengers movie. what's crazy is that the break even point is $2 billion (or close to it, we don't have the exact numbers), meaning it won't be profitable unless it makes $2 billion. And even then, it'd have to make much more to be considered successful. most blockbuster movies have break even points of around $600 million. Even for marvel this is really ambitious and risky.

Memes aside I genuinely think he's a horrible choice for Doom, even if he hadn't played Iron Man before. Doom is very similar to Magneto in the sense they're both ideologues with serious backstories so the actor portraying them needs to have enough menacing gravitas (that you either got or you don't) to balance out the camp elements of their design. A semi talented reddit quipping epic sarcasm charming manlet like RDJ can get away with playing Iron Man but is gonna be total garbage in this role, it requires a classically trained theater actor.
