Just finished. Caught this in the theater. Headache inducing garbage. A meteor lands in a remote superstitious village and an atheistic geologist is dispatched to study it. One of the villagers loses his mind and kills six people then himself. Then another villager does, then another one. The meteor disturbed some underground tomb releasing a body hopping demon that exploits the seven deadly sins (blech.). In the end they figure out you just have to find some bells and the thing will go away. Opens with an extended AI generated sequence of Hindu gods battling each other. There's an "endearing" little girl with autism, and the atheist scientist finds God at the end. Also he's a kung fu master for some reason.

And so I think the tie in is that Tony is also a monster sent back, but he gets bitchslapped by the girl into forgetting his mission. And she's obviously antichrist material.I don't have a theory about the other section yet, other than like the rest of the film it's supposed to challenge you with an extremely cruel idea that maybe Jesus doesn't forgive.
