They don't make it like they used to. What's your childhood favorite tv show? Have you go back to any of the older show recently?
STARGATE: SG1 America used to be a REAL country when SG1 was on.
>>216992802This was the final syndicated show ever made and to be frank with you it was shit, you could actually feel how obsolete the concept had become
>>216992802ESL
for me it's Cleopatra 2525, same head writer and producers as Xena, but better. Sadly canceled after 2 seasons
>>216993162>it was shitThere was nothing shit about that show but the budget. They squeezed every penny out of it, too. It's a fun, story-coherent series that is absolutely worth watching. You sound like one of those closeted dumbasses who refuses to watch anything produced before 2010 because "it's shit".
>>216993162Ha, this is the Gyro Captain and the plane guy from Mad Max Road Warrior.
>>216993479Jack of All Trades, the show that run back-to-back with Cleopatra 2525, was also pretty fun. Quite horny as well. And the intro is a banger:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Fqp4xT7M3w
Love Columbo. Any more show like that?
>>216993738yeah the opening theme kicks ass, also loved Verne Troyer as Napoleon LMAO
>>216994076A Touch of Frost, Inspector Frost is the British version of Columbo, messy, poor everyman who is also a brilliant detective, although it uses the traditional whodunit format instead of the howcatchem style of Columbo
>>216993087Based, SG1 was so fucking good. Another underrated gem imo is Andromeda.
>>216993162Only thing of this series I know about is that it had really hot women clad in red leather and S&M kink
>>216994149Surprisingly to see French as the bad guys. I guess British would be too cliche.
>>216993162this show was awesome faggot
>>216994516>dat webmThanks for making my point anon>>216994343
I've been thinking about watching Texas Ranger out of curiosity. Back then I was too little to ready care for it. Was it this show that cemented Chuck Norris' jokes or were they strong already when he played in movies?
I'm currently re-watching Columbo. It's pretty great. Basically all you need is Peter Falk and one good villain actor and it's all great from there.I'm expecting it to go downhill once I hit the 90s episodes, I recall those were a lot worse.
>>216993162>>216993704>>216994343Yeah, it was fucking Charisma Carpenter. The best girl taken from Buffy and made the best part of Angel (until she cuts her hair in season 3.)
>>216994539>Ted Raimi had fun working on Xena.>All excited to see what a bunch of nerds on IRC circa '97 think of his character.>Fucking heartbroken and resented filming the rest.I liked Joxer..
>>216994076Poirot up until the break after season six. (but it doesn't get excruciatingly bad until season ten through 13)Sherlock Holmes Granada TV version with Jeremy Brett is great. To a lesser extent Inspector Morse, A Touch of Frost and the Midsomer Murders.Allegedly Maigret (the 1991-2005 version), Cadfael, Kojak and Murder She Wrote based on previous recs l but I haven't watched those yet.
>>216994843The best part of the show is when Columbo play with the murderer and watching the criminal reaction to his perfect plan crumbling right in front of him. That's why Suitable for Framing so far is my favorite episode, although I'm just at season 3.
nearly every female character on hercules/xnea was a +8/10.insane casting.
>>216994987>Ted Raimii loved joxer as a kid why are anonymous posters on forums like this?
The best sci-fi show hands down.
>>216994076Furuhata Ninzaburō, it's basically a JP ripoff.
>>216994211>>216995036>>216995426Thanks, I'll check these out.
>>216995059I wonder how much of this is just that people are fat now.
Loved this one.
>relic hunters>dark angelI remember when you could turn on the TV and watch something both sexy and cool.
>>216996212based asia carrera appreciator
Sliders worth a watch? I've heard people glaze it for ages and I never saw an episode. John Rhys-Davies tends to be good in anything he's in.
I watched so much of this stuff as a kidRenegadeHighlanderKung FuTime TraxThere was another one about a demon hunter I can't remember the name of right now. One episode had Bret Hart as the Devil's executioner.
>>216996212>*gives you SEAsian fever*Why would they do this?
>>216996338It's pretty good, but the fifth season is a slog to get through. Either drop it during the 4th season or be prepared to suffer through the shit ending.
>>216993616>There was nothing shit about that show but the budget.>They squeezed every penny out of it, too. It's a fun, story-coherent series that is absolutely worth watching. You would think this would be the route streaming services would go to get a ton of cheap content but instead we get shit like the Disney+ Star wars crap that's like 300 million an episode and only 6 episodes total
>>216993479>but betterDisagree, but it's still fun. Watching through it now.Cleo a cute too.Almost a forgotten show these days. >>216993738Also good. The actress in it didn't do much afterwords for some reason, though she was good.
>>216995059She was fucking perfect for Aphrodite
>>216995580Supposedly there was a version of the show that aired with nudity but nobody has it.
>>216994987>liked JoxerMe too. I was convinced he had a super hero level strength because he was always getting the shit kicked out of him with no physical damage. But then one episode he does and ruins my head canon
>>216995036If you enjoyed Poirot and Granada Holmes, it would be a travesty to exclude the Joan Hickson Marple series. The rest of them are varying degrees of rubbish, but as Suchet is Poirot and Brett is Holmes, Hickson IS Marple.
>>216992802>XenaIt's next on my watchlist, after I find a torrent with it, the Hercules show and the Hercules movies.>fav childhood tv showStargate SG-1>older shows I watched in 2025the first half of S1 of SmallvilleStar Trek TOSStar Trek TASI Dream of JeannieStar Trek TNGa bunch of classic Dr. Who
>>216995059>she becomes human>is in a fish market and complains about the smell>she then realize the smell comes from hermy dick got hard ngl
>>216992802Xena and Sinbad were dope show
Street Hawk
>>216992802>>216993087>>216993479>>216993738>>216994251Shit son I miss all these.Earth final conflict? Anyone?
>>216993738I liked Queen of Swords a lot. It aired with Cleo and Jack here.
>>216994843Imo I thought they were fine. It's mildly amusing seeing columbo against a backdrop that might as well be a 90s cop show. The final episode is still peak columbo.>has the entire club applaud the owner for such a magnificent club, before nailing him to the wall with his explanation.Even the worse columbo are still good.Except that one where it's from the pov of the criminal and columbo shows up at the end with a gun for what I'm pretty sure is the only time- that one blows hard.Brutal.
>>216995580Underrated
also Beastmaster
>>216994987The Joxer ”Court Jester” episode was fucking kino
>>216993201This shit was rough I remember the episode with the bunch of heroes dying fighting monsters and shit, it was pretty impressive and shocking for my kid self
>>216995059>+8/10>negative assNo way Jose
>Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission.
Xochee was born in the wrong era. She would be perfect as a regular Xena villain-type
>>216998046Nowhere near hot enough to get a role in Xena.
>>216998065>Primary character trait:
>>216998119...being that she tries her best to look even uglier on purpose?
>>216998166Xena is a lesbian-coded show, chudly.
>>216998214Xena is bi
>>216995093I want to rewatch this but alongside someone who could appreciate it. My cousins are huge sci-fi nerds too but it's hard to get together for a marathon>>216996212>>216996451I liked the show for the plot but I watched it for her
>>216997244The first season and some after was good
I used to hate syndicated shows as a kid. the epitome of "it's saturday afternoon and there is nothing good on tv"
