I cannot understand how the "established" opinion is that the show was getting better and better until season 7 where it started to decline. No it didn't. The decline started in season 3.Season 1 and 2 are great and engaging, which is crazy for S2 since hardly anything happens in that one compared to the later ones. The pacing goes to shit starting in S3, as well as the dialogue, and it just kept getting shittier. How the hell do normalfags claim this show peaked in the fifth one?

Anyone who has actually watched the show knows that every season between 1-6 has good parts and bad parts and the quality bounces up and down, until crashing in season 7 and beyond.
Show ended when the blonde girl got shot in the face for no good reason.

The show never really had an overarching plot after S1. It was just "we need to find a safe place... okay, we fucked up this safe place, now we need to go find another one. Oh no there is an enemy that is fucking with us - we must fight them now." Still, it could have been fine still if Carl didn't get killed off for no good reason. Even Rigg leaving at the end of whatever Season that was could have been fine if Carl stayed alive. Honestly I was mostly invested until the final season. Dragging that shit with the boring ass community run by that charisma vacuum woman mayor chick on for 2 seasons was the wrong way to end the main series. And why the FUCK did they give Negan an ugly sheboon wife? Talk about a humiliation ritual. Thank God she was written out of the spin off so he could cuck Glen (which is so absurd as a plot point it is hilarious and kind of works therefore.)

There are a lot of stupid deaths in this show but Dale is up there as one of the stupidest. The walker morphed into existance.
