Going to watch this movie on New Year's Day. What am I in for? Is it Kino?
>>216999221To this day I'm still angry that the catholic church stepped in and changed the ending.
>>216999221Disappointment. I'd pick another one now, OP.
>>216999296stepped in? how did or could they step in? was the holy see listed as a producer? did they exert some influence on the production?
>>216999221absolute kino>YOU'RE A FUCKING CHOIR BOY COMPARED TO ME, A CHOIR BOY
>>216999296wut
>>216999373They exerted influence on the production, I don't remember the specifics because literally 25+ years ago but the gist is that the original plan was for Satan to essentially become a kaiju and Arnold would kill him with heavy artillery, which would have been proper Arnie kino. The church didn't like this because "evil cannot destroy evil" or whatever, and the producers were happy to placate them because it gave the film the seal of approval from the church and probably saved them millions because the final ending is way less extravagant and expensive.
>>216999221Women got Stigmata.Men got End of Days.
>>216999888Stigmata has more interesting theological underpinnings
>>216999221Good movie but weird casting. It's wild seeing Schwarzenegger play a bit of a weak sissy character. Absolutely mogged by a guy half his size.
>>216999221i remember it being terrible but it may or may not fall under "so bad its awesome" territory
>>216999221it's pretty shit but Robin tunney is hot as fuck
>>216999221> What am I in for?Robin Tunney barefoot for most of the movie. Sweet.....
>>217002481>>217002779she cute
>>216999221its pretty good actually, i jumped theaters to get in when i was a kid.

>>216999221a blind monk priest guy tried to snipe a host for satan. was quite a twist the first time I saw it. interesting movie
>>217005547Both are good but 9th gate is more on the satan simp kino. End of days is christkino.
>>216999221Wet cat food in my panties. George Floyd.
