>EFLA: kooky religious fundamentalist turns America into a No Fun Allowed Zone>Demolition Man: kooky hippie turns America into a No Fun Allowed ZoneThe duality of 90s action flicks. Michelle Forbes and Sandy Bullock also gave me a fetish for dark haired police/military women.
It's really not tho however so be it
Do they just keep going down the city list? Did they eventually get to escape from Indianapolis? Maybe Wilmington Delaware?
>>217001072According to the rumor mill Ghosts of Mars was supposed to be Escape from Mars at one point and at another point it was supposed to be a Mutant Chronicles movie.
I remember thinking it was pretty shitty to shut down the whole world back then. Now I would welcome it.
>>217000687It's the only John Carpenter film that I've ever turned off (& I've watched them all, minus Memoirs Of An Invisible Man & The Ward) for the reason of Kurt Russel playing a parody version of Snake Plissken rather than actual Snake Plissken himself, Stacey Keach being no replacement for Lee Van Cleef, & the godawful fucking green screen visuals.I actually like the films that both precede (Village Of The Damned) & follow it (Vampires in particular, which I honestly believe deserves more credit than it gets) so I could never understand how JC seemingly dropped the ball on that one, especially considering Kurt Russell's involvement. My question is, what did I miss?Should I give it another try?
>>217003491No, it's puerile shit
