It wasn't as good as I expected it to be, but definitely quality film making. No idea who is supposed to be the caped one if this is "capeshit", though. Leo's character did basically nothing to fix anything except be in the right place at the right time at the end. Lockjaw and the Xmas bros stole the whole movie.

The movie is definitely a centrist liberal’s perspective on leftist revolutionaries. That’s why all the pieces are there, but they don’t fit together correctly. Like powerful people using lesser whites as goons to do their dirty work. That’s real. Same with gay secret societies with their dumb rituals and putting agents into protests to initiate violence. The issue is that it’s framed as white supremacy being the initial motivator, which wouldn’t really be true in the modern day. Like sure, racist powerful white people exist, but they wouldn’t ask if you were “non gentile”. Most secret societies admit Jews. It’s part of the reason that the American elite are so pro Israel. If the motivator for the action by the secret society was something like “they somehow got ahold of footage of our secret baby eating ceremony” or “they got our pedophelia records and every billionaire and political leader in the west is implicated”, that’d make more sense. The wealthy going that far out of their way just over white supremacy in current year is a bit nonsensical.
