Are Jurassic Park 2 and 3 worth watching /tv/?I'm watching the first right now and it's pretty lackluster.Just watching the Park movies before giving the World series a go through.
>>217003014Second one is kinda stupid, but entertaining, nice atmosphere and style.Third one is a corny mess. Basically all the bits that didn't make it into previous movies haphazardly stiched together with no coherent narrative or even tone. Easily worst in the series.
>>217003014The lost world has a charm to it - avoid three, pure aids
>>217003014The second one is a weirdly cruel action movie and the third is fun popcorn flick. The don't approach the original in any capacity, but they're both still a fun watch.
>>217003014tlw is good until the long grass scene, just turn it off after that and imagine that everyone just diesjp3 is 'fine', it's less good than the other two but isn't outright offensive in any real way
>>217003014All Parks are worth watching. All Worlds can be skipped.
>>217003014yes, they're comfy kino and underrated; don't bother with the jurassic world flicks
>>217003014yes they're worth watching, but the first one is better and if you didn't even enjoy that you probably won't like 2 or 3 either.
>>217003014If you're not liking the first I don't know what to tell you, but the second may still be worth checking out since it does have it's own distinct tone.Never understood the hate for The Lost World. Even the more outlandish sequences (gymnastics) don't feel like they're that much crazier than anything we saw in the first (kitchen). As >>217004220 said though, it does kick off the franchise's cruel streak.III is a very obviously unfinished movie. The effects and setpieces are top notch, but you can feel where the holes in the story are that didn't make it on camera.World is a mixed bag since it's at once a return to form of the misguided-optimism tone of the original, but it also tries to redo III's premise of dealing with a "villain" dino which immediately becomes the worst trend in the series.Fallen Kingdom takes the most interesting premise of any of the sequels, then wraps it up in the first act leaving the rest of the movie as a weird mess. Dominion is not a movie about dinosaurs, it's an action movie that happens to have dinosaurs in it. Rebirth is a videogame movie without a videogame to be based on.
