Malcolm in the Middle reboot?Yeah but, the house was bought and modernized, we can't film there anymore it would look too off. What if we...and hear me out on this. What if we...film next door? What was the point of them doing this?If it wasn't the same house why feel the need to film next door?(I know they use a studio and only a few outdoor shots are filmed at the house but still)Also will Malcolm have missed out on becoming president because he had a kid pretty much as soon as the show ended and was forced to get a normie job around normie people?19 years fits the timeline if you are talking about meeting a girl, banging her, then 9 months of waiting.
They did a pretty good job at getting the same vibe from the houseAlso Malcolm isn't president because he's supposed to be 35 in this and a TV producer because the premise of the original show is that it's very loosely based on the creator, Linwood Boomer, and his experiences growing up as a gifted kid in a blue collar family. Malcolm is now where Linwood is.My only issues are brief timeline placements.>In season 1 (1999-2000), Dewey is 6-7, Malcolm is 11-12, Reese is 12-13, and Francis is 15-16>In season 7 (2005-2006), Jamie is 2-3, Dewey is 12-13, Malcolm is 17-18, Reese is 18-19, and Francis is 21-22>Francis turned 21 in season 6 and Hal commented that he and Lois have been married 20 years, which Francis comments on. Lois had been shown to have been going into labor at the wedding alter, so it's implied Francis' birth may have postponed the actual marriage>The premise of Life's Still Unfair is that it's their 40th wedding anniversary, so the ages should be Jamie (22), Dewey (32), Malcolm (37), Reese (38), and Francis (41), with the new child Kelly presumably being 18, but all the given ages I've seen are 2 years earlier
>>217005837>2 years earlierNot too bad a stretch, honestly. Could've been worse.
>>217007832Will Dewey appear at all in the show, even as a cameo like a joke about family being together and him showing up as a mailman or waiter then saying something like "its nice to see a family so close together, my family sucked"
>>217007865>Will Dewey appear at all in the show, even as a cameo like a joke about family being together and him showing up as a mailman or waiter then saying something like "its nice to see a family so close together, my family sucked">>217007832Also will jaime be kino or cringe?
>>217007865>>217007873Yes, because they've hired a replacement actor who could pass for him since Erik Per Sullivan wasn't interested in coming back to acting and was busy.I bet Jamie is probably going to be the strong silent type, a sort of bad boy heartthrob who doesn't think or talk much but is popular with women.
