They WANT to talk to you. They're READY to party!

"Random" numbers? They list the SPECIFIC number you have to call in the fucking commercial, retard. Otherwise you couldn't join a Party-Line in the first place. Do you know what the word "random" means?

That's essentially what you're doing right now with your computer

Gen Alphoids have had sex ruined by porn and tinder. They'll never know the thrill of drunkenly jacking it at 3am while a whore with a husky smoker voice talks dirty in their ear.

There’s already a vintage commercial thread up.

Someone must have, bc those services existed for years. This was considered weirdo behavior though, slightly piteous. Stereotypically, it was assumed that people who used this stuff must be lonely.
Ironically this same attitude was reserved for internet users too. Message boards and chat room were for nerds. I was a prolific BBS and forum user starting in the mid90s, and I almost never told my friends about it - it wasn't a secret, but you didn't offer the information.
I've had online-only friends for 30 years. Until very recently, this was basically secret. Even now that it's become normal, I still feel like it's slightly taboo.

Was there even a real person on the end of the line? I'm sure these things were all pre recorded shit

i never let myself fully become an 'internet person' because of the stigma when i was a kid and teen.
now my friends who made fun of me are internet people with almost no IRL friends but loads of discord buddies. i am lost in between the internet and real life without belonging properly in either.

it's so goddamn painful knowing how much better my life would have been if i'd never paid attention to anything anyone else ever said to me and just did what i wanted.

a lot of us millenials should have learned to close our ears to others
