Would be a 9/10 unironically if they could go 5 minutes without screaming white man bad.
>>217014190the dinklage episode felt like a weird filler and the ending was anticlimactic after how much they built up the nazi church.
watched first episode during thanksgiving. didnt know what i was getting into, just saw ethan hawke advertised and was interested. the show seemed to be about a bum youtube investigator with a cool hat and sunglasses who goes around to white people telling them that non-whites are good.i forgot what the plot is, but theres a lot of ethan hawke walking around giving high-fives to non-whites so thats something
>>217014190I liked Reservation Dogs, literally the best TV show I've seen in years. Them shouting white man bad in that show was fine because it was literally about Indians who really do do that, and besides it somehow didn't feel butthurt or "woke," more like it's just part of their culture to shit on white people. The actual white people in the series were mostly friendly and decent people too.I watched the first episode of this, and though it had a touch of the same feel as Reservation Dogs, it just seemed WAAAAY more woke and Ethan Hawke is kind of obnoxious. So I didn't stick with it. Should I give it another shot?
>>217014551Overall it is a good watch, just lots of white man bad and preaching. But when it isn't being current year it is very good. Also has a 10/10 milf who gets banged a bunch.
>>217014190i think ill give this a shot. im so numb to all the woke shit it just rolls off my chest at this point. just need something to watch while sick in bed.
>>217015556more like rolls down your chin if anything
>>217014551>The actual white people in the series were mostly friendly and decent people tooThey were mostly portrayed as harmless idiots like Kenny Boy or schlubs to be mocked like Macon Blair's character. The most sympathetic was probably Bill Burr, but even he had to be the butt of a joke at the end. Ethan Hawke, too, but there's no way they'd put him in the show and make him a complete asshole. He's too big a star.
>>217017346meh, it didn't bother me. It didn't come off as envious seething from browns, it came off as good-natured coexisting.
Don't know about the show but the premier party was pretty kino.
For me it's this one, the bratty bookstore employee.
